| Sharlene "Shelly" Hutchinson is a Board Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS). Ms. Hutchinson earned her Masters Degree from Boston University. She held a position on the clinical faculty of Emory University School of Medicine for 10 years and has been in practice for 30 years. She works with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. She has broad experience in the treatment of anxiety, depression, divorce, parenting challenges, attention deficit disorder, marital problems, health issues, as well as adjustment to chronic or terminal illness, loss and grief. Her greatest strength is in helping clients identify specific strategies to address problems and symptoms effectively. Ms. Hutchinson speaks to community groups on a range of topics, including infancy and childhood disorders, stress, and issues of particular importance to women. She is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, American Orthopsychiatric Association, Georgia Psychological Association and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. |
